Cartacoustics has developed new underground locating and mapping technology that uses sound to find buried structures.
Known as Advanced Sonic Technologies™, or AST, Cartacoustics has developed a system with the capability to use sound to detect and locate buried infrastructure. This patent-pending technology uses specially crafted sonic pulses to probe the ground without disturbing the surface.
AST’s unique acoustic sonde detects and positions underground structures made from any material and in all soil conditions, providing unprecedented insight into underground features. So far, this new approach has detected and located structures 30 feet down.
Stay tuned for an innovative look and discussion on this groundbreaking technology.
